The Kansas Region  members are dedicated to the long and  storied history of the Region in SCCA motorsports. Non, however,  more so than Summer and Jason Hull.

As can happen many times in our lives, different opportunities arise. When that door opens, you need to be brave enough to push it open all the way. Such is the case with Jason and Summer.

New business opportunities in Arkansas means the Hulls have left Topeka, and the Kansas Region will feel that loss. Without their dedication and selfless drive over the years, the Region's Solo program may not exist today.  The Region wishes them the best of  luck in their new adventure, and we will be the poorer for our loss.

In Jason's place, the Region's Solo program will be in the capable hands of David Avard.

Thanks, Jason and Summer, for all you have done for the Kansas Region!

Kansas Rally Weekend

Rallyists in northeastern Kansas and the Kansas City area will have several opportunities to enjoy Sunday drives in the country and to compete with other rallyists in time-speed-distance events as the rally schedule for 2007 has been finalized.

Saturday, November 10, the Jarbalo Jog III Rally will once again traverse the roads of rural Leavenworth and Jefferson counties.  (Note the date change).

Sunday, November 11 will see the "Pavement Ends" Rally, the event name signifying the fact that mostly unpaved roads will be used for this tour of Douglas, Jefferson and Leavenworth counties.

Details, when finalized, will be posted on the Kansas and Kansas City Region web sites.  For fur
ther information contact Rich Bireta  at rbireta@gmail.com.
